Lara’s Journey:

Navigating Middle Age with Healthy Gut

Challenging Path

Lara had always been an active and engaged woman, however, she had always struggled with her weight, since she was a child.

As she grew older and became successful in her career, the stress of her busy corporate job only fueled her unhealthy habits. She would turn to food for comfort when she felt overwhelmed, and this only added to her weight gain.

It wasn't until she started experiencing symptoms of perimenopause that she began to take her health seriously. Her fatigue, brain fog, and bloating were just a few of the many symptoms that she was experiencing on a daily basis. At the same time, she was diagnosed with leaky gut syndrome and an autoimmune disease, and this only made her journey to better health more challenging.

After seeing numerous doctors and taking prescription medications that did little to provide relief, Lara turned to alternative medicine. Her research led her to discover that the root of her issues was her gut health.

Lara's research into gut health showed her that everything from her weight gain to her menopause symptoms was all connected.

She began to experiment with different ideas she learned from experts and started implementing lifestyle changes to improve her health naturally.

She became intentional about her food choices, which meant giving up her favorite comfort foods and incorporating more gut-friendly meals into her diet. She also had to make sure that she was getting enough sleep, hydrating properly, and managing her stress levels.

Joyful Outcome

Lara's journey toward better health was not easy. There had been a few setbacks, but she persevered, and the changes paid off.

After healing her gut, Lara started experiencing incredible changes in her body - her menopausal and autoimmune symptoms were under control. She lost weight, had more energy, and felt happier.

With these positive changes, she gained the confidence she needed to change her life and pursue her lifelong dreams.

Lara had always been passionate about home staging and decorating, but she'd never had the courage to make it a full-time career. However, with her newfound confidence, she took a bold step and quit her corporate job to start her own company.

Lara and her husband moved to the other side of the country and she started her own home staging and decorating company. After a couple of years, her company took off, and she became a successful business owner in her field of passion.

Helping Hand

As she made changes to her own life, she realized that there were many other women out there who were struggling with similar issues. She decided to write a book to share her system of 7 healthy gut habits that she developed to help herself manage her symptoms. Lara's book "7 Healthy Gut Habits for Women over 40: Get Your Life Back Using Intermittent Fasting, Nutrition, and Diet to Restore Gut Microbiome for Weight Loss and Increased Energy" not only explains the science behind gut health and its impact on middle-aged women but also provides practical tips and strategies to help readers navigate their own journey towards better health.

Through this journey, Lara realized that our health impacts every aspect of our lives. By prioritizing self-care and wellness, we're able to unlock our full potential and achieve our dreams. She's now an advocate for gut health and encourages others to make changes to their diet and lifestyle for a healthier, happier life.
